Problem Note 43097: The error "No available engine session manager slots" occurs when you access Teradata tables with the META LIBNAME engine
The following error can occur when you access Teradata tables using the META libname engine:
ERROR: No available engine session manager slots. All 215 in use.
The error might happen because connections to Teradata have been leaked.
To circumvent the problem, specify values of SHARED, SHAREDREAD, GLOBAL, or GLOBALREAD for the CONNECTION= option when you define the Teradata library in the SAS® Metadata Repository.
The total number of slots (215) cannot be increased.
